The Shepparton Show Me Annual General Meeting will be held at the Shepparton Golf Club, 15 Golf Drive, Shepparton on Thursday 17 October, 2019.

The meeting will commence at 5.30pm with the appointment of new committee members, the endorsement of the 2018-2019 SSM Annual report and election of office bearers for the next 12 months.

Our guest speaker, Sparrowly Group will commence their presentation at 6:00pm, so please come along to find out the new future direction of SSM.

Sparrowly Group

The Sparrowly Group team have an intimate knowledge of the region having developed the marketing strategy for Shepparton Show Me, as well as the tourism industry in Victoria and nationally having worked on projects with Tourism Australia, Destination NSW, Bundaberg Tourism, Penrith, Hawkesbury and Cradle Coast. The team consists of Giovanna Lever, Naomi Farrelly and Jackie Hicks.

From brand marketing and positioning, product development, through mentoring and training, Giovanna is well known for building and transforming brands into sustainable business models. With 20 years experience working as an integrated commercial marketer in tourism, hospitality, entertainment and sport, Giovanna has held the Director of Marketing for the InterContinental Sydney Double Bay, leading the successful opening of the hotel. As a senior member of Tourism Australia led the Business Events Strategy and as a key member of the commercial team at Australian Rugby Union was responsible for driving awareness and engagement with the Australian Rugby brand.

Giovanna began Sparrowly Group with a clear vision to create a better workforce for the future. She has been at the helm of high profile projects across all disciplines for destinations, businesses and brands across Australia.

As well as providing strategy and consultation for large and small businesses, she runs impactful leadership and development and reflective mentorship programs. These have previously been utilised by Virgin Australia, Reserve Bank of Australia, Hamilton Island and Bundaberg Tourism, as well as small to medium sized businesses that need support to thrive.
