The Cystic Fibrosis Great Escape 2014

In 2013 the Cystic Fibrosis Great Escape raised over $410,000 in donations for Cystic Fibrosis Australia. The target this year is half a million, so come down to wish them well as they begin their ten day trek.

The Cystic Fibrosis Great Escape is a car rally with a difference. Having seen many of Australia’s most scenic destinations over the past twelve years, this year the rally will depart from Shepparton heading over the Bass Strait to the Apple Isle of Tasmania. The rally is known for being fun and different with its relaxed atmosphere, encouraging participants of all sorts.

Cystic Fibrosis is the most common life threatening genetic condition in Australia. Funds raised from the Cystic Fibrosis Great Escape go towards much needed research as well as raising awareness of the disease and supporting those living with Cystic Fibrosis.

The ten night tour will depart from Shepparton Lake at 7am on Tuesday 9th September, but locals will get a chance to check the cars out in the Mall from 12pm on Monday 8th September.

Drop by Monday to see the cars and meet the crews taking on this challenge and working hard to raise much needed funds for Cystic Fibrosis Australia.

If you’re up for the early morning all are welcome to send off the teams at The Lake Tuesday from 6am.

The Cystic Fibrosis Great Escape 2014 is proudly supported by Shepparton Show Me.
